    RTF Global provides anti-theft and security solutions to mitigate the theft of valuable assets for wireless retailers, electronics retailers, hardware and home improvement stores and more. Whether it’s retail phone security solutions or anti-theft devices for other valuable merchandise, this is our wheelhouse. In the wireless industry, we’re best known for our mobile phone security stands but have solutions for many other retail verticals.   • What is OmniSense?
    OmniSense™️ Create customized, engaging, content that captures your customer’s attention with OmniSense™, a digital signage solution for retailers. OmniSense is a combined software/hardware solution that allows retailers to present merchandise in a vivid, explorative and informative content. How it works: Merchandise is displayed using a store fixture, either custom-made or we can adapt our hardware to existing fixtures. An idle video attracts the shopper’s attention and invites interaction with the merchandise. The merchandise is secured with a recoiling tether to the display, which also acts as a theft deterrent. Once the product is lifted, the screen content changes and the shopper learns more about the product. There are endless applications including vape pens and other valuable assets.   • Why a quantity of 8 positions?
    The SmartHub has 8 ports, so the number of positions is between 1 and 8 - The OmniSense Starter Kit is based on two (2) positions because we believe this will be the most popular configuration - The cost for each additional position will be quoted as an option We do have systems that can handle more than eight (8) positions, but these are entirely different from our OmniSense system and would have to be quoted separately upon request
  • How are my jars/containers attached to the display?
    The OmniSense Starter Kit comes with two (2) Boomerang 5™️mounts, and mechanical recoilers with 1.5mm diameter aircraft cable tethers approximately 94cm long, and patches with grey VHB (very high bond) tape to fasten your jars/containers to the tethers Boomerang 5™️- https://rtfglobal.com/products/boomerang-5/
  • What is included in the Starter Kit?
    A Starter Kit consists of one (1) SmartHub, one (1) SmartPlayer, and Boomerang 5™️ mounts with mechanical recoilers with 1.5mm diameter aircraft cable tethers approximately 94cm long, and patches with grey VHB (very high bond) tape for two (2) positions - Mounts are available in either a Straight (Horizontal), or a 12° Low Profile - When quoted, pricing will be provided for the cost of Template Creation and Setup - A nominal monthly fee will be quoted for the CMS Software required The Starter Kit is based on a two (2) position [i.e.; two (2) display jar] setup - Separate pricing will be provided for each additional position - The system can accommodate up to a total of eight (8) positions per display - Alternate systems are available if more positions are required The following items will generally not be included in the price, however, be sure to review your quotation, verify with your sales representative, and inquire if there are any discrepancies: - Sensory display containers/pods (Sniff jars) - [containers/pods/jars to be supplied by the customer] - Display monitor(s) - Delivery and handling** - Installation and on-site setup - Graphic content - Duty, brokerage, taxes, and insurance ** Prices are FOB Orangeville ON - A quotation for delivery and handling will be provided separately prior to order acknowledgement NOTE: The above is a general guideline as to what will be included and how orders will be priced - Items included/excluded may vary - Review your quotation, verify with your sales representative, and inquire if there are any discrepancies
  • How is content added?
    Content is added to the SmartPlayer(s) at a SmartCircle Portal using the CMS Software - See "What is the CMS Software?" for further details SmartCircle - https://rtfglobal.wpenginepowered.com/products/smartcircle/
  • What is the CMS Software?
    CMS stands for Content Management Software - It manages the content and distributes it to the SmartPlayer(s) from a central location of your choosing - The service is provided and includes regular software updates by a third-party, but the content is provided and uploaded by you the customer The cost is charged per SmartPlayer/Month (generally you would have one display per store, therefore it would be one SmartPlayer/Store/Month)
  • New vs Retrofit
    Of course it is much easier to incorporate our system into a new store with new fixtures - Just let us know what your plans are and we'll be glad to assist wherever we can
  • Glass vs Solid Countertops
    Solid Countertops - Much cleaner and easier to build our system into a solid top - Most everything can be concealed within the counter Glass Countertops - So many Cannabis shops go with all glass showcases - Not a problem; our system can be integrated into a loose free-standing display; just check out the images and video of the sample mock-up posted on this site * We don't have any plans to get into the fabrication of loose free-standing countertop displays at this time, but you never know (we could provide you with some references); will keep you posted *
  • P.O.S. Integration
    Our system can be integrated with most other automated technology and P.O.S. systems, however, every system is different and we have not made any allowance for this - If integration is required, we recommend that you consult with your IT or P.O.S. representatives on this
  • Installation and on-site setup
    This is a DIY job - Our pricing is FOB Orangeville ON - We have not allowed for any installation or site visits - We can provide pricing for installation if required
  • Graphic Content
    When quoted, pricing will be provided for the cost of Template Creation and Setup - These services will be provided remotely and do not include any site visits The CMS Software is used to manage the content and distribute it to the SmartPlayer(s) - This can be done from a central location of your choosing, however, it is intended that the content be provided by and uploaded by the customer We can provide services to help prepare graphic content, but there would be an extra cost for this work
  • Why is there a monthly fee?
    The monthly fee is to cover the cost for the use the CMS (Content Management Software) Software - This is provided by a third-party and is an ongoing cost to us
  • What is included/not included in the price?

  • Can I return a product?
    No, all sales are final; it's more about the consultation and the services than it is the cost of the physical products; most of the costs are due to the time and effort involved in determining the customer's requirements, customizing the systems, creating the template(s), and setting things up from our end
  • What else can OmniSense do for me?
    There are a number of other products that we're sure you'd like to have your customers hold and handle for a closer look and feel - At the same time, OmniSense could activate a screen on pickup and provide them with the information they need to help them make a choice - One example, would be to use OmniSense to secure and provide information on Vape Pens - Below is an example of how we've adapted our technology to secure electric toothbrushes:
